Layers of bing cherries, raspberries, black tea, anise seed, and exotic spice tantalize the palate, while oak nuances sit nicely in the background. 2025 Primitivo
Felta Creek Vineyard | Dry Creek Valley

Big new-world flavor meets old-world sophistication! This wine was harvested to taste and gently pressed. Whether Primitivo and Zinfandel grapes are the same variety is still debated by viticulturists. However, through DNA tracing it appears that Primitivo is either the father of Zinfandel, or an intimate mailman. This popular wine elicits brambly fruit and warm earth toned spices on the finish. Left to develop for 11 months in American oak, this wine is a true sell-out at DLM!
