The 2008 Grand Finale has it all. This wonderfully balanced blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot has an opulent, fruit driven spirit. The initial mouthfeel of dried fruit, plum, red licorice and soft Greek olive sensations move forward into a crescendo of toasted oak, bold tannin, food worthy acidity and slightly tart yet ripe olallieberries. Its deep, dense, cranberry-Bing cherry lusciousness includes hints of blueberry and exotic soft plush leather. The Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’  of these grapes has resulted in this amazingly well-crafted wine.  85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc.

This wine is truly a gem. Grand Finale is a Napa Valley Bordeaux Style Blend. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot were carefully selected and blended to perfectly complement one other. 10 years later, this wine is perfectly aged with several more years of cellaring possible. Grand Finale is sophisticated, elegant, and structured. Tannins are soft, showcasing dark fruit flavors including plum and currant. The finish is long with the perfect lingering wisp of oak. Do not sleep on this one! Limited quantity available. 

Please note, Grand Finale was not filtered or fined. After 10 years aging you may find sediment when opening the bottle. But this does not effect the outstanding flavor. Decanting works beautifully to separate wine from sediment. Enjoy!
